Small-group science classes provide a personalized learning experience where students develop a deep understanding of science through inquiry, collaboration, and hands-on learning activities.
With enrollment limited to 3-5 students, each class provides individualized instruction while allowing students to learn alongside their peers in a supportive environment.
Class Offerings
Overview:
Students explore core middle school science concepts through scientific modeling, data analysis, simulations, collaborative activities, and guided discussions while building critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills.
What Students Will Study:
Scientific method and experimental design
Introductory chemistry and physics
Earth and environmental science
Foundations of biology
Data collection and interpretation
Course Format:
Weekly 60-minute small-group classes
Tuesday's 3:30-4:30pm
Eva Perry Regional Library (Apex, NC)
Fall classes meet September 7-December 18 and spring classes meet January 18-April 30, with scheduled breaks for Thanksgiving (November 23–27) and Spring Break (March 8–12).
Approximately 3 hours of independent coursework each week.
Tuition and Payment Schedule:
Total Tuition (includes materials): $795
$400 non-refundable deposit due upon enrollment
$245 due by August 15, 2026
$150 due by December 1, 2026
